 BLS for Healthcare Providers Sacramento CPR Training is offered by the American Heart Association designed for providers in healthcare and other healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of both in, and out of hospital settings. This course also satisfies the CPR pre-requisite for area Emergency Medical Technician E.M.T. programs in and around the Sacramento area.

This CPR certification or recertification training course is required for anyone working in a hospital or healthcare setting, however, students not in a healthcare setting are also welcome to take this CPR class.  CPR Classes are held at two convenient locations in the Sacramento Area cities of Rancho Cordova and Roseville.

The BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR Courses has been updated to reflect new science in the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.

This video-based, Instructor-led CPR course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in and out of hospital settings. This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. It includes adult, child, and infant rescue techniques.

BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR Training teaches skills using the AHA's research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the student's acquisition of skills.
